I have done this by copying the pilot and co-pilot nodes from the external view cockpit model into the internal view cockpit model. This means that there should be no loss of functionality in any buttons, nor degradation of graphical detail as nothing about the cockpit is being changed no LOD change. The pilot model nodes are just being added to what is already there. For this reason I have appended the folders with the letter z as the mods load in alphabetical order.
